We believe that knowledge and accesibility to resources is essential to receiving the mental health support you need. So, we have provided a resource directory to make your search for support that much easier. This collection of resources includes services offered in the Queen's community, the Kingston region, and across Canada. Check it out below!

AMS Peer Support Centre (PSC)

The PSC is an AMS service comprised of 100+ volunteers and paid staff providing all undergraduate students with confidential and empathetic peer-to-peer support, including resource referrals and practical guidance.

Sexual Assault Centre Kingston (SACK)

SACK provides free, confidential, and non-judgmental support for all survivors of recent and/or historic sexual violence in Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington (KFL&A). Services include a 24 hr call/text/chat crisis line.

Addiction & Mental Health Services (AMHS)

AMHS KFLA provides a broad range of responsive, community-based services, including a 24 hr crisis support line, individual counselling and treatment, support groups, court support, addictions services, housing support, and more.

Graduate Peer Support Centre (GPSC)

The GPSC is comprised of a group of student volunteers who provide a confidential and welcoming peer-based support to Graduate and Professional students at Queen’s University on a completely anonymous basis.

Empower Me

​

Empower Me is a 24/7/365 helpline service offered to all Queen's students. Callers are connected confidentially with qualified counsellors, consultants, and life coaches for either crisis situations or scheduled sessions. Appointments may be in person, by telephone, or videoconference.

Good2Talk​

​

Free 24 hr crisis line dedicated to post-secondary students. Good2Talk is a support service delivered by professional staff with education and experience in professional counselling or information and referrals.

Telehealth Ontario

​

Telehealth Ontario provides a 24/7/365 helpline service so that anyone living in Ontario can call a registered nurse to get medical advice or information at any time, including advice about mental health.

Peer Support Kingston

​

Consumer-run centre for those 16 years of age and over who self identify as having addiction and/or mental health issues seeking peer support. Services include social, recreational, and educational activities and are offered on a call-in or drop-in basis free of charge (no referral necessary).

Physical Fitness at the ARC

The Queen's Athletics and Recreation Centre (ARC) is currently open for students and members to reserve gym time and is also offering a variety of both in-person and virtual group fitness programming.
